Maintenance Team

In addition to exceptional patient care, superior flight maintenance is a core element of Fox Flight’s international medical repatriation service. In 2010, the company brought its aircraft maintenance operations in-house and took the required steps to achieve Approved Maintenance Organization (AMO) status from Transport Canada. Fox Flight retains a staff of fully certified aviation mechanics who handle all incidental and scheduled maintenance tasks for the company’s fleet of Lear 40-XR air ambulances.

    • Hanger facilities

    Fox Flight maintains its own hanger facilities at Lester B. Pearson International Airport in Toronto. In addition to storage for the aircraft, the hangar facilities also include dedicated offices for the maintenance staff, air crew and medical crew. These facilities allow Fox Flight to maximize the operational efficiency of the fleet and keep aircraft available for missions 24 hours a day / 7 days week.
