Pilot Job Post YYZ – Air Ambulance PIC / FO
Job Description: Serve as flight crew member conducting domestic and international medical repatriation flights on the Lear 40XR, based at Toronto Pearson. The candidate will possess the necessary skills to operate efficiently and safely in our International Air Ambulance Program in accordance with Canadian and ICAO regulations and standards. Individuals must be able to work cooperatively with a small team for extended periods, including multi-day deployments away from base. Strong inter-personal skills are essential in this environment due to the sometimes challenging schedule and the nature of our operations.
Pilots with current type ratings will be considered first.
Individuals must meet the following – Qualifications / Certifications:
- Captain
- 4000 hours total flying time
- 500 hours Multi-Engine Turbine experience
- Canadian ATPL
- Valid Group 1 IFR
- Valid Passport with no travel restrictions
- Able to relocate to within 90 minutes of Pearson International Airport
- International experience and jet experience would be considered valuable assets
First Officer
- 2000 hours total flying time
- Canadian CPL/ATPL
- Valid Group 1 IFR
- ATPL/IATRA Exam(s) Written (CPL Candidates)
- Valid Passport with no travel restrictions
- Able to relocate to within 90 minutes of Pearson International Airport
- International experience and jet experience would be considered valuable assets
Training in aeromedical flight physiology, will be provided as part of Fox Flight Orientation program.

Registered Nurse (RN)
(Contract Position)
Job Description: Conduct domestic and international air ambulance and commercial patient repatriations. Clinical skills in emergency and/or intensive care, required. This person reports to the Clinical Nurse Specialist, and the Medical Director.
Qualifications / Certifications: (Individuals must meet the following)
- Certificate of Registration, with the College of Nurses (or equivalent, if training outside of Ontario).
- At least, 2 years, recent full time critical care experience (ER, ICU, CCU etc.)
- Current BCLS (within last 2 years)
- Current ACLS (within last 2 years)
- Current PALS (preferred, or willingness to obtain within 6 months of hire)
- Current NRP (preferred, or willingness to obtain within 6 months of hire)
- Auditing of ATLS course (preferred, or willingness to complete within 6 months of hire)
- Proven leadership ability
- Ability to work independently, and as part of multidisciplinary team
- Excellent assessment / communication / decision making skills
- Speak, read, write fluent English
- Valid Passport
